Don't bash mac's on a Mac rumors site... You want 100's of people rushing your house? :D
We understand that Intel can pump processors out of the Kazoo.
I'm sure we understand that IBM/Motorola can't.
Bashing us is just wrong.

Do a whois on iphone.com and you can clearly see it is NOT owned by apple. Someone was just trying to be funny. I didn't laugh.

Moto was killing themselves to get to 1.25 GHz so 2.0 is out for January. You'll be lucky to see 1.0, 1.25, and 1.5. The "only boot in X" thing is marketing hype. The GPUL is real, but not ready until MWNY (Boston?) along with Apps & OS 10.3 optimized for 64 bit and some amazing high-end graphics demos.

Is it common in your country for companies to run ads made for American audiences without retooling them with British actors, etc? IE, do you see a lot of "American" ads?
Not really. The Intel Mac ad was dubbed in the UK with the wording slightly changed.
Pan-European ads are more common than transatlantic ones. Perhaps because there are different rules regarding how the advertising is done - you're not generally allowed to mention the competitor for one.
The only ones I can recall seeing in both the US and the UK are IBM ones and iPod ones. Oh yeah, and the Budweiser frogs and wassup (but much later). Always amazes me that since the Superbowl isn't primetime viewing in the UK so advertising is cheaper why the global brands don't show their highlight ads in both markets.

In my workplace I am the only one with OSX because I needed it to run Dreamweaver (at least that's what I told them so they would get me OSX! :D )
Two other designers are totally afraid to upgrade to OSX. They are using Quark 5. And the three others that lay out books and publications still use Quark 4! One of them is still using a power pc! They are DEATHLY afraid of any type of change whatsoever. Why does this piss me off? Because they're total lack of ambition when it comes to keeping up with the latest technology is dragging me down. I cannot get the latest version of anything unless others get it too, but they don't want it. Dammit, I want inDesign.

I don't think so, but I would be totally wrong. :o
You can use one of my cores. I have 4 after all...but unfortunately this program only uses one...
iGary if you use InCrease (http://calxalot.homeip.net/InCrease/) there is a option in the preferences to set WU's :)

25% is pretty hopeful!
You never know, MS might bundle it with Windows and let their users choose which browser they prefer...  :p
And Ballmer could grow hair, and stop acting like a crazed chimp.
Not likely though.

I can't see anything really wrong with this program.
You still have to buy the music!
The labels need to get over trying to shove this DRM crap down our throats.
It will never work! This has been demostrated time and time again.
Of course Apple will shut it down soon.
Well put - I can't believe some people actually wrote "hopefully Apple will fix/shut this down soon" - do you enjoy having usage of your music crippled? I certainly don't.

But they say "G4+" which means they don't have any plans to stop working with apple right away, as G# is a name that Apple gives, not motorolla. But will Apple use them all the way to 3ghz or beyond? If not how slow is moto gonna have to advance to get dropped? I am not seeing a real great processor in Apples future (If they adopt the 970 they might pull ahead eventually, but they will only be equal at the start), but Apple really needs some great product if they want to keep alive.
That PDF doesnt say anything we already know. Apple is gonna make one or two more revisions with Moto's chip on the PowerMac. The rest of Apple's lineup will continue to use them for another year or two.

Except total all the PC manufacturers together and tada. Sure Apple is the #1 *INDIVIDUAL*, but there aren't any Mac clones these days.

This might not be the right forum, but, this really surprised me.
I was watching the 1984 Superbowl ad, and can swear I saw an iPod on the girl's belt!
I haven't reached any conclusions yet, but that really looks like an iPod:

HAHA! ur on windows
Don't tell me that was the reason they showed that web page to me. :D
I alternate between Windows XP and Mac OS X - Windows XP is for official work, Mac OS X is for personal use (ok, occasionally Windows also gets used for web surfing and posting to MR ;) ).
If you notice well, I have the Noia eXtreme theme for Mozilla Firefox that makes most of it look like the Aqua interface (with the flowing progress bar, neat buttons and all). :) I use a similar theme for Mozilla Thunderbird too.

eh... He's over reacting. I doubt Apple would ever enable the chip for their DRM.

I downloaded this last night. I don't use it much, but noticed that the menus are now in the right place, and it doesn't quit when you close the last document. The interface is still ugly though, but I'm sure it'll be fixed soon.
